media character types and narrative structure.

In media today we were learning about two different things:
narrative structure and character types.
narrative structure:
there are two different views on narrivite types (Propps theory and Todorovs theory)
For props theory he belives it goes in the sequence (1) Perparation (2) complication (3) transference
(4) struggle (5) return and (6) Recognation.
For Todorov it goes in the sequence of (1) equilibrium, (2) disruption, (3) recognition of disruption
(4) attempt to repair disruption and (5) a return or restoration of new equilibirum

For propps character types he belives every film generally has a :
Hero
Villain
Prize
Mentor
Helper
Blocker
Dispatcher

This image shows enigma for the way that you can’t understand why or what the person is doing there.
The image raises many questions about the scene such as why is he there, what could be in the chests that he is opening, what purpose do they serve, what did he have to do to get there, why is he all alone, where exactly is he, how long he has been there and why dose he need to be there.
It raises the theory that there is something of great importance in the chests and he is opening them at night so as not to be seen by anyone, we could also guess that he is in a secluded area also so that no one else can spot him

This image shows enigma through the way that  it is unclear what is going on in the scene and it raises questions about it such as what is going on, why is she covered in dirt, why are there flowers inside the house, why dose she look so depressed and why is she sitting in the flowers.
It raises the theory that maybe someone had left her which is why she could be looking so sad and they may have had some connection to flowers which is why they are inside the house and why she is sitting in them.
